The PhLAM laboratory

PhLAM, the Laboratory for Laser, Atom and Molecule Physics, was formed in January 1998 from the merger of the Hertzian Spectroscopy Laboratory (LSH) and the Molecular and Photonic Dynamics Laboratory (LDMP). It is a joint research unit (UMR 8523) under the joint supervision of the CNRS and the University of Lille.

Its research themes focus mainly on light-matter interaction, ranging from the physics of cold atoms to photonics, via molecular physics and the non-linear dynamics of optical or biological systems.
