ELECTRONIC & IT SERVICES

The development of electronic devices, control and measurement systems, and IT solutions is a central element of the laboratory's activities. Whether it involves the design of experimental instruments, the management of the IT infrastructure, or digital security, the Electronics & IT Division represents a strategic resource for all PhLAM teams. This division operates at several levels:

  • Design and innovation: drafting technical specifications, designing and producing integrated circuits and complex electronic assemblies tailored to the laboratory's projects (cold atoms, fibre photonics, molecular spectroscopy, wave propagation, biophotonics, etc.).
  • Technical support and maintenance: assistance to teams and a "support and repair" service for electronic and IT equipment.
  • IT and digital security: management of a decentralised fleet of over 300 units spread across two sites, implementation of cybersecurity measures, application of recommendations and user awareness initiatives.

The Electronics & IT Division also relies on close collaboration with the specialist departments of the Faculty of Science and Technology at the University of Lille (G. Brice, IT Service, FST).
