INTERNATIONAL
PhLAM is part of a strongly internationally-oriented scientific dynamic, through an active presence at major reference conferences, lasting research collaborations, and recognised involvement in international scientific bodies.
Laboratory members are regularly invited to speak at major conferences in their respective communities (Photonics West, CLEO, ECOC, EQEC, OFC, EMRS, ACS, EOSAM…), as well as at leading universities and research institutes. Since 2019, they have delivered over 200 invited conferences and seminars and contributed to the organisation of more than 60 scientific events, a large proportion of which have had an international dimension.
PhLAM also encourages the international mobility of its researchers, through short- and long-term research stays at partner institutions in Europe, North America and Asia, fostering the development of high-level scientific collaborations.
The laboratory's international recognition is also reflected in strong editorial and institutional involvement: several PhLAM members hold or have held positions as editors or guest editors in leading scientific journals, participate in national and international evaluation committees, and contribute to expert groups advising funding agencies and international organisations.
Finally, PhLAM's scientific excellence is regularly acknowledged through national and international awards and distinctions, granted to both established researchers and early-career scientists, reflecting the quality of mentorship and the collective dynamism of the laboratory.
