"Science Festival 2025 – PhLAM Explores 'Intelligence(s)'"
Vie du labo
As part of the 2025 Science Festival, held this year under the theme “Intelligence(s)”, researchers from the PhLAM laboratory, in collaboration with other laboratories of the University of Lille, will present two original and interactive workshops. These events are part of the scientific program “Les sciences infusent”, organized from October 2 to 12, 2025, during the University of Lille Science Festival.
- Workshop “Brain in Images”
How can intelligence be visualized? This workshop takes you to the heart of the human brain through advanced imaging techniques such as MRI and high-resolution photon microscopy. Participants will discover how researchers explore brain activity — from overall structure down to the finest neural connections.
An immersive journey at the crossroads of biology, physics, and imaging technologies.
- Workshop “Biological Intelligences, Digital Intelligences”
This workshop offers a dialogue between living systems and artificial intelligence. From animal brains to neural networks inspired by biology, visitors will explore how different forms of intelligence emerge, adapt, and interact with their environment.
A unique opportunity to reflect on the diversity of intelligences — natural, collective, or artificial — and the links that connect them.
