A New Type of Intramolecular Coupling

Published in Physical Review Letters and featured by CNRS Physique, this work led by researchers from ISMO and PhLAM (Laurent MARGULES et Roman MOTIYENKO) reveals a novel coupling between electronic spin and internal rotation of the methyl group in the CH₃CO radical. This discovery opens new perspectives in molecular spectroscopy and astrochemistry.
