Rencontres technologiques du PhLAM: ‘1984: The CNRS is behind the 1st French patent for a 3D printer. An industry that will be worth €70 billion by 2030’.

This new meeting will be hosted by Gauthier Dekyndt at CERLA on Thursday 19 June at 2.30pm. It will be on the theme of ‘1984: CNRS at the origin of the 1st French patent on 3D printing. An industry that will be worth €70 billion by 2030’.

Topics will include: different processes and materials, the function of parts optimised using AI, 4D printing, hybrid manufacturing: proofs of concept for a thriving industry review.

The meeting is open to all and will be conducted in French.
