PhLAM Technological Meetings: "3D Printing of Hybrid Polymers for the Fabrication of Micro- and Nanostructures in Silica"
phlam Vie du labo ActualitésThe meeting will be led by Marc Douay and his collaborators Halima El Aadad, Yaan Mondal, Priya Dominic, Hicham El Hamzaoui, and Yves Quiquempois.
It will be titled “3D Printing of Hybrid Polymers for the Fabrication of Micro- and Nanostructures in Silica”, and will take place on May 15th at 2:30 PM at CERLA.
Summary:
The Equipex "Additive Manufacturing of Glasses and Components for Photonics" is a national platform coordinated by the CNRS. The PhLAM laboratory is involved in several work packages, particularly in research on new resins and 3D printing methods for the fabrication of optical components, primarily in silica or doped silica. PhLAM has developed a specialty within this Equipex in printing silica components using two-photon polymerization methods. The lab has demonstrated new resins as well as processes enabling a record resolution of 23 nm in 3D printing of silica. PhLAM collaborates on this topic with CEA List for nuclear applications and Safran for the aerospace sector.
This meeting will be held in French only.
