Thursday 26 June marked the end of the PhLAM seminars for the semester. In the IRCICA amphitheatre, Alexandre MEGE-REVIL gave a lecture on ‘Planetary limits: a physical approach to the impossibility of sustainable development’. You can find the summary here.
The event was well attended, despite the gloomy weather outside. Among the audience, the second-year students on placement at the laboratory also took an active part in the discussion. Curious, they asked pertinent questions, demonstrating their interest in environmental issues.
Rich in thought and discussion, the meeting continued over a convivial buffet!
