May: the month to embrace cycling
Vie du labo
Take on the challenge and cover as many kilometers as possible during your daily trips!
The goal of the challenge is to collectively ride as many kilometers as possible on bicycles, during all your everyday trips: commuting to work, going to appointments, getting some fresh air…
This year, there's something new: you can now register for several different communities, even if they are two employer communities.
For example: a research staff member can register with their lab’s community, their affiliated university, and the CNRS.
The challenge is open to everyone, regardless of your level—whether you're a student or staff, just getting back on the saddle or an experienced cyclist!
How to register?
- Join the University community (here) and/or the CNRS community (here) by signing up on Geovelo.
- Your kilometers will count towards all the teams you're affiliated with.
- Download the Geovelo app on your phone and start cycling to log your kilometers!

Happy riding, everyone!
Did you know? On average, a French citizen emits 2.65 t CO₂e per year for mobility. You can calculate your own emissions using the simulation tool available on the PhLAM Durable intranet page.
