Alexandre KUDLINSKI, nominated for the Jean Jerphagnon Prize 2025
Photonique Vie du labo
We extend our warmest congratulations to Alexandre KUDLINSKI, professor at the PhLAM laboratory, for his nomination for the 2025 Jean Jerphagnon Prize.
His project focuses on the development of a miniature endoscopic probe capable of performing stimulated Raman histology. This cutting-edge technology aims to expand the clinical applications of nonlinear micro-endoscopes, enabling real-time, in vivo histological diagnosis. The ultimate goal is to support the early detection of gastrointestinal cancers, reduce the need for biopsies, and speed up therapeutic decision-making.
The Jean Jerphagnon Prize is awarded each year to a scientist or engineer who leads an innovative project with high scientific value or strong industrial potential, and which marks a key milestone in their career, incorporating at least one element of optics or photonics.
Although he did not win the prize this year, his nomination is a strong recognition of the quality and originality of his work.
