a) Theoretical Works
In addition to its deep imbrication with the experiments, the theory activity has been successful in the study of "quasiclassical" chaos induced by the atom-atom interactions nonlinearity in optical potentials. This opens perspectives for the single-to-many body transition, up-to the milestone of "quantum turbulence". One can also mention the studies of the kicked rotor dynamics in presence of interactions, or the simulation of the full (four-spinor) Dirac equations. The recent hiring of Adam Rançon brings a condensed matter expertise, which is an important asset for the future.
