Forty PhD students are currently conducting research within the various teams at the Physics laboratory of Lasers, Atoms & Molecules. On April 12, they were gathered to present the progress of their work as part of the PhLAM Laboratory’s Doctoral Day. PhD students in the 2nd year of their thesis presented their research in the form of oral presentation at CERLA’s Pierre Glorieux amphitheater, while the other students presented their poster in room 124 of the P5 building. A luncheon cocktail punctuated the poster session, allowing for sustained exchanges in a friendly setting.The presentation of Sophie KERVAZO was a special moment during this day. Student in 3rd year of thesis within the Physical Chemistry Modeling Team, supervisors: V. Vallet, F. Réal, A. Severo Pereira Gomes, she won the 1st Jury Prize and the Public Prize during the regional final of "My Thesis in 180 Seconds" competition held at the Regional Hall on March 29. The laboratory director and the doctoral school director congratulate her!
