The PCMT team honored in two GENCI activity reports (Large National Equipment for Intensive Calculation).
Each year GENCI publishes an activity report which presents not only the highlights of the past year but also some of the remarkable results obtained by research teams, industrialists whose spin-offs are essential at the scientific, societal or economic.
As the GENCI 2021 activity report has been published, page 37 of the GENCI202021 notebook highlights part of Richard OPOKU's thesis work. Each year the thematic committees (CT8) choose to put forward a project among resource allocations.
As part of the "Grands Challenges Joliot-Curie AMD Rome" call for tenders, PCMT's work is presented on page 29 of the GENCI-GdrChallenge2021 notebook.
This "Grands Challenges" call aimed to give a significant amount of hours dedicated to carrying out intensive calculations. For this project, the team had about 11 million CPU hours for a specific project instead of the 3-4 million hours usually allocated to PCMT.
