The 2017 young researcher award goes to Alessandro Furlan.

DYSCO Vie du labo Doctorants Prix et distinction

Alessandro received the young researcher award as part of the 1-PRIMER program in the Hauts de France region on October 19, 2017.
The DYSCO team (director Majid Taki) of the PhLAM laboratory is pleased to announce that the Hauts-de-France region has awarded the young researcher award to Alessandro Furlan, a postdoctoral researcher developing his projects with Laurent Héliot and Marc Lefranc. A trained biologist, Alessandro Furlan conducts research at the interface between physics, biology and mathematics, in synergy with the complementary expertise of PhLAM biophysics groups. By combining experimental fluorescence microscopy approaches with theoretical modeling, his projects shed light on cellular regulation networks at two levels: > the dynamic organization of supramolecular complexes in the regulation of transcription,
> metabolic oscillations during the circadian cycle and their control by transcription circuits.
