Mr. Dumitru DUCA, PhD student at PhLAM in the ANATRAC group, of the PMI team, was awarded the 'Trojan Horse Award' for his exceptional work on the theme "Characterizing the surface chemical composition of soot particles using mass spectrometry techniques", presented at the 23rd ETH-Conference on Combustion Generated Nanoparticles (June 17-20, 2019, ETH Zürich, Switzerland) and revealing the relationship between surface chemical composition and size of soot particles emitted by laboratory burner and gasoline engine, in as part of the European project H2020-PEMs4Nano.
