The PhLAM laboratory

The PhLAM: Laboratory of Physics of Lasers, Atoms and Molecules, was born in January 1998 from the merger of the Laboratory of Hertzian Spectroscopy (LSH) and the Laboratory of Molecular and Photonic Dynamics (LDMP).

The PhLAM laboratory is a mixed research unit (UMR 8523), under the dual supervision of the CNRS and the University of Lille.

PhLAM's research themes are mainly oriented towards light-matter interaction, ranging from cold atom physics to photonics, via molecular physics and the non-linear dynamics of optical or biological systems.
